I am working toward earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Saint Louis University. Once I began tutoring, I immediately fell in love with it. I take pleasure in seeing my students rise above a challenge to become successful in a topic they previously struggled with. I encourage my students to practice often and persevere. I take the time to discover my students' individual needs and learning styles so that I can modify my teaching techniques to meet their needs.My tutoring began with helping elementary students in Math, Science, and Reading. I now tutor students of all ages in those subjects, but I most enjoy sharing my passion for Biology and Chemistry with students. I also like tutoring students who are preparing for standardized tests like the ACT, ACCUPLACER, PSAT, MAP, SSAT, and SAT. Another subject I enjoy tutoring is Math, and I'm happy to help students in Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Competition Math. I'm also able to assist students in AP-level Science and Math courses.In my spare time, I enjoy sewing, kickboxing, and running.
